Last week there was a assembly, it was the last assembly for 2015. Mrs Langley was calling out the names for the year 6 boys athletics and the year 6 girls was up next. I held my breath until Mrs Langley said "2nd - Joanne Nie", I bursted to happens and walked up to the front of everyone, I couldn't believe I bet Maggie, Bella-rose and Lucy, they were all better sportsmans then me and I was so proud of myself.
I also won a bronze medal and came 3rd in the sprints girls which was my first medal from College street. It will be a good item to use to remember College street normal school. I willmiss College street. :(

On Friday, it was my cousin birthday but we didn't throw a party for his birthday day because on Saturday it was my brothers birthday so we threw a double birthday when my brother had his birthday.Then on Sunday we didn't go to the school Gala because we had to go to a A&P show in Fielding it was still fun but I didn't think it was funner then the school Gala.

Paper challenge!!!!!
Last week we did a paper challenge!!!!. We were only give an example how it looked like.
Mine turned out just fine.
It was a fun day!!!!
Balloon powered car challenge!!!!!!
We first tried to figure out how to make the Balloon powered cars.
Then we named our car, our one was called 'The fart car'. # This is our group
Then our race was here, the most intense and fun race has finaly arrived after the hard work we put in.
And the winner was...... 'The Fish'.
It was a fun day!!!, Thx Miss G & Mr R it wouldn't of been better without you guys!!!!!

In the holidays!!!!!!
In the holidays I went to the movies to watch 'Scorch Trails'. The movie was also very scary in some parts and also weird in some parts.The most interesting thing that happened in the movie was when a whole bunch of zombies just apear. Also in some very freaky parts I would either, hide behind my sister, eat my popcorn very fast or jump really high because it was so scary. When the movie ended, my mind was full of scariness I hopped into the car and went home it was like 6:12 and I turned on the TV and it popped up with the news just then it was talking about a boy that got murdered in Levin so now i was double freaked out. At night I was hiding under my blanket because i was scared of the zombies off 'Scorch Trails' and the kid that got murdered. Then at school we did 'What's on top' it was Tiaki's turn she said, "The boy that died was my second cousin" and it was so sad to here that.

Mind Lab!!!
All of GRi11 fundraised to go to Mind Lab, we fundraised enough to go to Mind Lab and we went on the 22ed. We got to do 3D printing and we all had to write our names on and gridded page. I learnt that it take a long..... time to print them out.
We also did Makey Makey, Makey Makey is a thing that you make your own keyboard and the best thing is i didn't have to make a Earth for my keyboard I just had to take off my shoe and keep my foot on the ground.
We also made cars I was really fun at the start but at the end it wasn't fun because it didn't work
Next was the Swiggle box we had to make a machine that has three felt pens, a plastic cup and a motor.
There was also one more thing but i couldn't do it, but it looked awesome it is the stop motion one.

Badminton Festival !!!!
Last week GRi11 and 3/4s of Pot of Gold went to the B&M Centre for the Badminton festival. I brought 3 rackets to share and had one for myself. We also meet one of New Zealand's representer for Badminton. There was three Badminton players there, the first one was Sandra, Matt and Rebecca, Rebecca is the New Zealand's Badminton player. It was a awesome day with Sandra (Our couch), Matt and Rebecca, Special Thanks to all of them!!!!!!.

What I like to do at home!!!!!
At home I like to watch Anime ( What is Anime?-A style of Japanese film and television animation, typically aimed at adults as well as children.) The Anime's I have watched so far are, High school dxd, Mayo Chiki, Hagure Yuusha no Estetica, One piece, Fairy tail and a lot more.The Anime I am watching so far is Clannad - After story. The type of Anime's I like is Romance and magic. The reason I like to watch Anime is because it is sometimes funny and sad. Anime also helps you with Japanese and English if you put it on English Subbed it will both help you with you English and Japanese, But sometime it is also fine with English Dubbed.
