“Joanne, Bella-Rose and Maggie your next up for the archery”, screamed Joseph, one of our activity group parent. He screamed to get our attention, I got really frightened and nearly jumped as high as Jeff, he was our other activity group parent. Next up was then my turn, I jabbed the end of the arrow to the string, suddenly I heard a click then Jeff said it was safe to go now.
I ripped the string back and tried to target for the bullseye in the middle, but instead I got it on the black.On my second try I pulled the string too hard and went over the target. Then I tried the third time and the arrow bounced straight of the board to the ground. My turn is now over and the next people is up,”well at least I tried”, I mumbled.
Soon we all got back to the kitchen and started eating before free time.After the yummy foods I got changed into my togs, I was planning to go into the water, especially the water slide I like the most. I ran to the lake checking if there was adults to supervise us and yes there was Jeff, Oliver’s dad, I asked him if I could go on the water slide. Jeff went to get the soap so it will make the water slide slippery, it was my first time going on the water slide and I didn’t know how it would be like so I was scared. The water slide was too slippery that it went too fast my eyes hurt. But still I thought it was the best time of my life.
